When an adult first experiences the onset of asthma they are usually very surprised by it. When people see children with the symptoms it is a normal assumption that they have developed asthma but it is often overlooked in adults. Bronchiectasis is a rare disease, which causes the airtubes in your lungs (bronchi) to become permanently misshapen. The airways are inflammed and collapse really easily.
